The Reseda location of Fab Dogs has been known for some excellent dogs and they finally made it to UCLA, where they certainly have hit their demographic head on.
Today, Chesty Morgan and I had a light lunch, devoid of all nutritional value.
After finishing, I felt like my stomach was filled with solely inorganic material. Like matches, lightbulbs and hay.
Was it worth it?
While I loved the tots, the cheese was a tad flavorless and the chili overpowering. The tots were perfectly crisp and delicious.
I didn’t love the Bald Eagle Ripper. The relish was overpowering.
The LA Street Dog and Carolina Slaw Dog were both great but I preferred the Spicy Redneck, the jalapenos were much appreciated.
My problem with Fabs is the dogs themselves are a bit thin. I prefer a thicker dog.
All that being said, I would probably come back and try some of their dozen or so other varieties of hot dogs.
Just to make sure I’m not missing out.
